embracing the neccessary evil...
as i continue to serve out my time in academia i have embraced the neccessary evil of coffee. this morning after staying up till 2am finishing a paper only to rise again at 6:30 to head for school, i found my freshly printed paper with coffee stains of unsuitable proportions. what a curse this mind altering sludge is but yet what a blessing on those long mornings.
i fear our culture is coffee crazed, i know some gents who should have a coffee iv implantend directly into a major artery to ensure their survival which is scary as i see myself handing over more and more cash to the warm brown god of caffiene. this really has no major signifigance it's more just a realization of this morning....

So you've given in? Ahh, Phil.... six years into my life here in Washington and the most I'll drink is a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks or a mocha milkshake from one specific coffee stand out here (Cruisin' Coffee).... I thought you had more willpower! Glad to see that you, like I, however, have joined the bandwagon re: BLOGS. But yours is way cooler looking than mine. Congrats on joining the land of the bloggers and hopefully i'll keep more current on your life this way! Tam
