so the other day i was picking up some donuts before church to take for my setup crew, and as i walked into the dunkin donuts i came across a guy asking for change. i politely told him that i didn't have any but that i'd get him a donut if he would like. he agreed (who wouldn't!) and so i took his order and went inside.
the guy (i suck, don't even know his name) wanted a coconut donut which of course they couldn't find. so after much strife and searching they finally dug one up from "the back" (i think this means the trash) and i had them put it in a seperate bag. i also got my five other donuts and some coffee's and had them put some cream and sugar in another little bag. so i hapily pay the nice people and walk out the door.
sure enough, there stands the guy, so i hand him his little bag and jump in my car to get to church. thinking i had done a good deed for the day i arrived at church and started handing over coffee's. then i go to get the bag with cream and sugar and sure enough, you guessed it, there is that stupid donut. i felt sooooo bad, i must have handed that guy a bag of cream and sugar! i'm sure he was just thrilled with that. it's good i drive fast or he probably would have tracked me down.
so now i'm left with three terrible circumstances:
1. i have this stupid donut that i don't even like
2. i didn't give the guy what he wanted
and 3. i have to drink black coffee....which just bites!
moral of the story, get to know your homeless guy. take the time to talk. if i would have done that i would have learned his name, i would have given him that blasted donut, and i would not have had to drink sucky coffee!
now i know better for next time!
by the way, i how do you spell donut? is that even right or is it doughnut? i'm tired

I use bloglines. That way i don't have to check everyone's blog individually, I just subscribe, go there, and then read them that way...much simpler. :)
When are you going to update?
