finally

so after much slacking on my part i think i'm finally back to the place in life where i can write again. currently i find myself sitting in a little coffee shop in our neighborhood, it's actually right next to our office and a great little spot to sit and think.

our church community is engaged in a full on 24 hr prayer journey (8am this morning till 8am tomorrow) when we finally launch our second service on sunday mornings. as a part of the body i am extremely proud of our community for engaging this exercise with us. people have committed themselves to 1/2 hour shifts of prayer with watchmen in our office on two hour stints to help guide them along the journey. we feel like we are currently standing on the brink of what could be a break-water fall for our community. we converted our office into a refuge for prayer with 7 stations to guide the faithful down the path of experiencing god change our community.

as i said above our launch of the second service is causing a lot of stir. at the same time our college students are returning and my life is speeding up to full gear. with all this going on we are feeling god's hand working in mighty ways.

it is a good season in life for us. i pray that it is the same for you.
