just saved...

I had the challenge of preaching this weekend for our church, it's an opportunity that presents itself every couple months (to carry the morning services that is, I normally teach a couple other times) and when it does I find myself getting spiritually slapped around as I interact with the Word of God to prepare for the message. This time was no different.

I had the pleasure of speaking from Romans 12.1-2, which says :

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spirituala act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

This walk with Jesus is so much more than "just being saved" ... listen here
