the turkey's gone, the coma is setting in, and we have much to be thankful for. in chicago it's about 19 degrees and we're warm in our apartment. we have had much more than enough food. we have plenty in a world where most have nothing.
this season i am very thankful for the abundance of god's blessing. i especially am thankful for family and friends this season. we had my wifes parents and some friends to our home for the festivities today and god was very gracious in giving us every blessing in abundance. i missed seeing my family but we were with them in heart and mind.
as i walked out the door this morning i was reminded of the blessing of a warm home and bed and i pray for those without. i thank god that he has blessed and i pray that he would show mercy to those out in the cold.
