typically this word is not one that is used to describe the DMV but it's actually a pretty good description for our last visit. not only were there no lines but there were actually friendly people who were more than willing to help us out with whatever we needed. i have spent a lot of time there since we generally move on a yearly basis, and i have to say that this was by far the best experience that i've ever had.
so if you're in chi-town head on up to 5700ish north elston and have yourself a pleasant visit as well.

Wow-last time I went to the DMV, it definitely was NOT "pleasant". I think you are the first person who has used that adjective. Just thought I would drop by and say hi-I'm going to check out your church's website now...Kimberly
My one experience with the DMV in IL was mixed. The lines were VERY long and tempers were short. I do have to say that the person who finally helped us did go to great lengths to make sure we didn't spend any more money than we had to. Overall, the people in Chicago are pretty friendly and helpful, at least the ones we ran into.
