the triumphant return...

so after a long time of re.adjustment to life i'm back to the blogosphere.

back in june we made a move from big city life to a life of peace in small towns. our time in chicago was absolutely incredible and many days i wish that we still lived there... not just for the city but very much more for the people. god did great things that we had the wonder of witnessing. we miss it dearly. but while that feeling lingers we also find ourselves fond of our new surroundings and especially the new adventures.

i had forgotten what god had created... in a land where stars burn bright in the night sky and where life's pace is often only a lazy summer memory. i've spent a couple nights this week up on the mountains where you feel so close to god that it would seem he could reach down and hold you in the very palm of creation.

night sky

it is good to be home indeed. we're settling in... new patterns and times of worship. may god bless this new adventure...

more to come
