back in the day (ie highschool) i used to be pretty big into mountain biking, but since moving to the midwest it's been less common than i'd like. well the other day my friend blain decided to buy a new bike and i cought the biking bug again (not the getting a new bike part but rather the desire to get back out again). this past weekend we decided to go for a ride, let me preface by saying that calling it mountain biking out here is a bit of a misnomer, it's more of trying to avoid the broken bottles and destroyed sidewalks as opposed to actual mountains, still fun though). so we took our bikes out for a ride in the frigid march air.
it was great to be outside agian. i have decided that i get way too depressed being stuck inside for so many months. that was the final part of my spring break this year and a good way to end the winter/welcome spring. now if the weather would just get the hint and let it warm up a bit that would be nice.
all this to say i'm glad that spring is coming, we are moving on saturday and i'm praying for good weather to welcome us into our new home. get outside and enjoy the season!

Glad you got to get out and ride again..I agree the weather needs to figure out that it is to be warm again! Have fun moving, I hate moving, well, the packing is the part I hate, the actual move itself didn't seem so bad, however, I basically missed that part of my family's move to FL. since I was up visiting Jeff that weekend.
ahhh yes, well if you want the true moving experience you can come out here. although with your knees helping us get our stuff to the third floor could be fun
thanks, third floor was avaliable and after our last experience of having people above us (not a nice one!) we are all up to tackle those stairs!
Judging from the dialogue between you and Ashley, you must be moving withing the same building, right? I agree about spring needs to come!
